First off the guitar sounds fantastic... great wood and the strings are great as well.  Unfortunately the first one I ordered was damaged. I sent it back with no difficulties and the new one is in great shape.  Again this guitar sounds great looks great and the hardshell case is nice as well.   Highly recomended.

Needed an acoustic for summer campfires and was amazed at the sound. I have always been a fan of Taylor, and got a good deal on one used, though it was evidently not used much. Couldn't be happier with a non acoustic electric guitar.

I have played several acoustic guitars.  When I was looking for a new one, I was playing the high quality expensive guitars just to see the difference, then I picked up the Taylor 214, and WOW, at that moment I knew this was the guitar for me.  It has a great tone, plays beautifully.  The only thing I didn't like about it, it didn't have an expression system.  GET ONE, YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!

High end guitar without the high price, plus the neck is slender and cords wonderfully.  I like the finish also because the shiny glossy finishes always scratch and you never have the same shiny finish again, but the satin only needs a express turtle wax spray and buff and you always will have a new guitar.  The 214 also stays in tune well and sounds as good as my expensive Martins and Gibsons.

This is my first real guitar purchase and I am not disappointed. I have been playing on a junker for about 6 months and decided to buy a nice guitar. I played em all, martins, guild, seagull, gibsons, tak, etc... This is the one I took home. The only thing that I have done is lower the action a bit, besides that this guitar is the best deal around.
