A finely-made performance guitar with a solid spruce top, sapele back and sides, and Taylor Expression System electronics.
The all-solid Taylor experience continues with the updated 310ce-L Sapele/Spruce Dreadnought Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Crisp, black binding flanks the satin-finish sapele back and sides and glossy Sitka spruce top, and then continues up the fretboard. The 300 Series is truly the performer’s workhorse, combining technology and craftsmanship with understated style. A Venetian cutaway adds dimension to classic Dreadnought styling, while the tone of Sapele is faithfully amplified via the Taylor Expression System.
The warm tone and open midrange of sapele balances the bright and snappy characteristics of a Sitka spruce top. The resulting combination provides the perfect guitar for strong, rhythmic playing styles.
A traditional shape refined, we combine classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.
Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, the Expression System amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled, natural live sound. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally-clean amplified sound. It’s your tone. Amplified.
Enjoy signature Taylor tone and playability. Order today.

Comments about Taylor 310ce-L Sapele/Spruce Dreadnought Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
This guitar sounds incredible, just like the clearest and fullest acoustic sounds you hear on your favorite records. I was a little worried that a dreadnaught would be too bass heavy, but the bass is perfectly balanced across the entire 6 string spectrum. Playability is outstanding, low action and no buzzing at all. At this pricepoint which is pretty darn high for some wood and metal, even made in the U.S. I wish there were more finishes to choose from besides the natural finish. Besides that one gripe, this incredible sounding guitar sounds exactly, and I mean exactly like it does plugged in as it does unplugged. Make no mistake, Taylor guitars have the best acoustic electric system in the world, built entirely inhouse in the U.S. of the A! Also for all you hippies out there this guitar is made of readily available wood, unlike many soon to be extinct trees out there.
