Classic jumbo volume with sophisticated 12-string shimmer.
Like an entire ensemble unto itself, the Taylor 455 12-String Jumbo Acoustic Guitar delivers a sound that is well-balanced and resonant but undeniably powerful. When you step on the gas the Taylor 455 kicks into high gear for a uniquely rewarding sonic experience with punch. The quick, articulate response of Sitka spruce is combined with the warmth and sparkle of ovangkol, giving this Taylor 12-string an expressive and pleasing tone.
The Jumbo guitar delivers the extra-deep resonance and volume that come with a larger sound chamber together with its own signature subtleties. With a huge presence, the Taylor Jumbo is perfectly suited for aggressive strumming.
The finish used to create the 12-string Jumbo guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultraviolet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer

I picked this guitar up at a local shop, sat down, played it and I loved it. It felt very nice, especially the neck of it. But the sound to it was incredible. I own a Washburn 12-string acoustic and I love it. But if I had my choice I'd definitely take this Taylor. It's great.
