A beautiful 12-string of exceptional clarity and volume for its size.
The cutaway Taylor 654ce 12-string Acoustic-Electric guitar gains power and clarity from its synergistic blend of tonewoods: Sitka spruce and maple. A signature quality of Big Leaf maple”besides its crisp, bright tone”is its ability to cut through on stage. In live performances, your Taylor 654ce easily holds its own with the rest of the band. The 654ce stands out visually too, with its jaw-dropping maple-figured back and sides.
Taylor 12-string guitars deliver the same easy-to-hold, stay-in-tune playability as their 6-string siblings. With their comfortable necks, Taylor 12-strings are ideal for the mainly 6-string guitarist as well as true 12-string enthusiasts. All Taylor acoustic-electric 12-string guitars offer the Taylor Expression Electronic System and a Venetian cutaway.

This guitar is one of the best guitars I have played - certainly the best 12 string. The quality workmanship in Taylor high-end guitars (I don't have experience of the lower end models) is absolutely outstanding. The quality is so high in fact, that you could practically play anything on it and it will sound good. That said if you want a guitar that you can bash the heck out of this isn't it - try a Guild. But if you want a guitar that give you amazing responsiveness and beautiful highs whilst keeping its warmth and a stunning, stunning feel - this is it.
