OVERVIEW

Genuine Taylor quality for young students and intrepid travelers.

Conceived as a starter guitar for kids, the lovable Baby Taylor has maintained its enduring appeal in part by being a legitimate musical instrument that anyone can enjoy. The three-quarter-size Dreadnought helped touring musicians like Taylor Swift sketch new musical ideas on the road, and it's been a reliable musical accomplice for travelers seeking inspiration while trekking the world. All Baby Taylor models ship with a durable travel-worthy gig bag made by Taylor for optimal fit and protection.

Tone Woods
A guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Sitka Spruce is the most prevalent guitar top wood of the modern era. It blends stiffness and elasticity in just the right proportions which translates into broad dynamic range with crisp articulation. The arched back of the guitar generates more sound from a small-bodied instrument, and using layered wood back and sides create a sturdy yet receptive platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.

What sets Taylor Guitars apart? Unmatched build quality, the most stable and playable necks, a vast array of tonal options, eco-conscious and ethically-sourced raw materials, and a lifetime of service and support.

Comments about Baby Taylor Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar:

It is a really awesome guitar. It does not come in a acoustic-electric model, however, which was quite dissapointing. The only con is a low action. These are the only guitars that may be a bit dissapointing to the experienced/pro musician, but it will be quite enough for starters. Taylors are very excellent guitars though.

Perfect for our 8 yr old daughter who has been taking lessons for nearly a year. Previous guitar was much less expensive, got out of tune consistently. This guitar has a beautiful sound and is beautifully made.
