    Taylor

The first new Taylor shape in over a decade with a whole new tone.

Tuned from B to B, The Taylor 6-String Baritone Grand Symphony Acoustic-Electric Guitar yields a deep, potent tone appealing to singer-songwriters and other players who favor a lower register. The baritone guitar's voicing also blends well with other instruments, adding a different sonic texture to create a rich, ensemble sound.

    Taylor Grand Symphony body
Though you might see similarities to a Grand Auditorium, the Taylor GS guitar is unique in both sound and shape. Significant changes in the geometry yield a deeper, more piano-like bass. A wider, lower bout and higher, wider waist return ample volume and deep sustain, in symphony with fuller mids and balanced highs.

    Indian rosewood back and sides
Indian rosewood seems as if it was created to be on a guitar. The clarity, balance, sustain, excellent bass response, and wonderful coloration and figure are in a premiere class. Paired with Sitka spruce offers an unstoppable combination.

    Taylor Expression System
Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, the Expression System amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled, natural live sound. Simply put, it's your tone, amplified.

    Gloss finish
The finish used to create this guitar's gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Wow! One of the most impressive guitar I have played and clearly the best among the other six that I currently own (and those that I sold). Built perfectly, sounds amazing; just need some strings adjustment as I prefer lower string height. Although this Baritone has 6 not 8 strings like the other Baritone, I do not play this guitar as I play the other traditional ones. With this guitar, strumming is not the way to go, but fingerpicking is. The bass string is so rich; it gives an opportunity to expand your playing and style. Electronics (Taylor Expression System) is excellent, although it seems to favor the higher strings a little too much. I give it a 9/10 since I know that the ultimate guitar is somewhere in the universe. But I am in Heaven with this one and I will definitely consider to buy another Taylor in a few months.
