The Taylor K24ce-L Koa Grand Auditorium Left-Handed Acoustic-Electric Guitar is alluring to the eyes and ears with its Hawaiian Koa back, sides, and top. This rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. Hawaiian Koa’s captivating beauty is matched by a tone that blossoms over time, especially in the midrange. Its voice is bright and focused, with warm overtones that slowly emerge, adding sweetness and depth. Premium all-wood appointments, led by the Tropical Vine fretboard inlay, celebrate the wood’s natural appeal. The K24ce acoustic electric guitar is performance-ready, with a Venetian cutaway and Taylor's Expression System electronics.
The grand auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular shape, excelling at both light-touch fingerstyle to full-blown strumming. Great for miking and recording, The grand auditorium's balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice. The Venetian cutaway of the K24ce offers maximum playability.
Designed to faithfully reproduce true acoustic guitar tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.
The finish used to create the lustrous gloss top, back, and sides of the K24ce guitar was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
