Fine woods from forests around the world come together in this terrific Taylor.

The Taylor K10ce Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a Sitka spruce top and Hawaiian koa back & sides. Hawaiian koa is a rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. Other appointments of the K10ce include abalone trim around the top and soundhole, figured maple binding on the body, fingerboard, soundhole, peghead, and heelcap. The K10ce Dreadnought is performance-ready with Taylor's Expression System electronics.

The Taylor dreadnought is focused and assertive with plenty of presence and volume. The time-honored heritage of the dreadnought body style makes it the choice of the traditional player. The Venetian cutaway of the K10ce offers maximum playability.

Using proprietary pickup technology developed at Taylor, in partnership with renowned audio pioneer Rupert Neve, the Expression System amplifies your guitar with unrivaled natural live sound. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored exceptionally clean amplified sound.

Comments about Taylor Koa Series K10CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

Been playing for almost 50 yrs, but never owned a top notch guitar. Decided it was time. Gibson? Martin? Guild? Played them all in the 2k-3k range. All were nice instruments, but didn't wow me like the Taylor. The aesthetics are remarkable, but the tone, resonance and sustain beat them all!
Took guitar lessons moons ago from the renowned Robert Conti and play mostly jazz chords plus finger picking. This guitar is the pinnacle of my expectations.
Want to thank Kevin and Chris from Musician's Friend for allowing me to see actual pictures of the guitar that I was purchasing. Hands down, the best guitar I will ever own or play!

Comments about Taylor Koa Series K10CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

This is very, very similar to the guitar used by Travis Meeks (Days of the New). I've played with his a few times and WOW. Just WOW. It plays sweeter than you can imagine. And the looks, unparalleled. You truly get what you pay for with this guitar.
