This guitar has no limits to what it can do! Its built very well! I mean its what you expect from a guitar maker like Taylor, but man o man is this just a great guitar! I absolutely love everything about this guitar! the only thing that would have made it a little better was making it with 24 frets but still just an amazing guitar!

This is the guitar I plan to play for a long time. I'm never getting rid of it. It's not built to play metal, which is a bit of a bummer for me anyway, but it is certainly a quality instrument that is exactly what I needed. Highly reccomend.
Nothing to really complain about. It doesn't stay in tune very long, but that's not a big issue.
This is an incredibly underrated guitar. I picked it up when the price was slashed at the shop in town because no one was buying it. Everyone pairs Taylor with acoustic, but this is a great guitar. Great sound, feels nice to play, and I've never had any problems with it.
It's a little expensive for me, but it certainly is worth the money.

I have owned this guitar for about two years (I also own a Taylor SolidBody Standard Guitar and three Fender Strats). I have found that the warm, smooth tones this guitar produces are great for playing the blues! It sounds great clean or with mild to moderate overdrive/distortion. It plays very well and responds to my picking intensity. I love my other guitars too, but for what I play on it it's the best!

I had lusted for a Les Paul for almost 20 years - until I heard about the Taylor solid bodies. This guitar is quite impressive. The quality is top notch - not a flaw. The sound is amazing - the cleans are gorgeous - you don't hear a chord - you hear each note....and don't let the 3/4 size pickups fool you - this guitar has PLENTY of growl

When I purchased this guitar I was torn between it and a Les Paul. I have played the Les Pauls plenty, but I have to say this guitar tops it all. This is definitely one of the best guitars for the money I have ever played. It has a great feeling neck, it's light wieght, the tone is awsome, and it is simply a beautiful guitar to behold. I am 100% satisfied with this guitar and recommend that anyone that can afford it should buy it.

I am a fan of long-line of Taylor acoustic products for over 20 years. I figured I might as well try out the taylor-electric hardbody. I was able to get better sounds than my fenderstrat, fendertele, or gibson les paul out of this thing. really quite amazing. very clean sound. this thing is "BA" out of the guytron.

Now understand i own two taylor acoustic's which i love, and i was very excited when i heard taylor was coming out with a electric guitar. I had it reserved and and when it came i was so bumbed any gibson or fender is better then this guitar. The pick ups sound good on clean but when you want some distortion they are so weak its sick and i thought that they could have done alot more, the body shape is ugly in person and it feels like it was made over seas. the only thing i can really say that is good about it is the neck is pretty smooth and the guitar is lightweight. But everyone has there own likings i guess

Amazing. Killed my Gibson Les Paul for tone, build quality, size, weight, shape and looks. Killed my SG for sound and bite, killed my Taylor solid body classic with a warmer fuller sound and better feel. This is it. "The One" This is an amazing guitar and worth every penny IMO. The tone with the 5 way switch is so nice. You can get FAT, thin, in between, heavy and lead. I pair it with a Fender HRD Texas Red and its the best sound I have heard. Expensive and same price as a Les Paul Standard but IMO beats the paul. Sorry Gibson.

This guitar is everything a guitarist could want in a guitar. The humbuckers combine strat and les paul sound and it's smooth neck makes it easy to play for the smallest hands.
