An acoustic guitar that folds in half and fits in carry-on luggage compartments.

The Voyage-Air VAD-04 is a full-size acoustic guitar that folds in half, so it can fit into a special backpack case - small enough that it qualifies as carry-on luggage for all commercial airlines.

The revolutionary design makes traveling with a guitar a breeze. Simply loosen the strap button and easily fold the guitar in half for easy storage inside the custom backpack carrying case. When you're ready to play it, unfold-tighten the bolt and it's nearly in tune.

I bought a VAD-04 strictly for travel and light use.The day I bought it I paid a visit to United
Airlines. As I was walking up to the counter,
the clerk said that he had seen these before.He
stated that ther was no problem taking it on
as carry-on.The reason I mention this is that it
will not quite fit in the stand in front of the
entrance to the counter designed to check the size
of what you wish to stowe in overhead.I think that
this is a great value and a nice sounding piece.I
would caution parents on allowing a youngster to
assemble the guitar.All in all it is a winner in
my book.I've heard less sound from much more
expensive instruments.I may mike it, but have a
Taylor 814ce and Beedlove Focus for money gigs.I
may try it in a coffee shop though.It surprised me!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
