Comments about Washburn Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar:
I have had this guitar for several years now. I couldn't be happier with it. When shopping around, I tried several nylon string guitars that were in the same price range as this one and more expensive ones as well. Many of the ones I tried sounded rather dull and lifeless. I knew that I was taking a chance with this one, buying it without trying it first. Delivery was quick and it arrived in good shape. Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck by the beauty of this guitar (it never fails to get compliments). I was not disappointed by the sound, although I did put on a fresh set of strings immediately. The rich, sweet tone and sustain of this guitar rivals some of the guitars that I previously tried that were double the price. I can't say enough about this guitar!
The only problem, which was minor, was that there was a buzz sometimes in a couple of the strings. I soon discovered that the culprit was a loose battery cover. I removed it and put it back on and there hasn't been a buzz since. The tuners are very good. It stays in tune quite well, and the onboard tuner works very well. I love this guitar!
