I've had mine for about six years. The tuners on mine were not Grover 'STYLE' but were actually Grover tuners. Overall, it's a good axe for the price, great to look at, and versatile in design with 1/4" and XLR outs. Decent electronics that can be quirky, (The entire preamp pops out and the battery is located in the bottom of it, when in place the contacts can be fussy, creating pops and/or dropout.) My main complaint on this one is the fret work. the frets on mine are already shot which seems to indicate inferior metal was used. I have 30 year old guitars with frets in better shape. Secondly, the high E string is now constantly getting caught under the fretwire at about the 20th fret, and upon inspection I found that there was a significant gap between fretwire and fretboard, indicating that the fretboard material was not properly aged or dried. The tone is mediocre at best to me even plugged in. The action is fantastic and the neck demensions are among the most comfortable I have felt on an accoustic.

alright so i got this guitar for an alright price so i was pretty happy. i immediatly started playing it at least 4 times more than my electric the tone is a little deep but alright. i took it to school one day to try and show off what little skills i have and all of the sudden the head of the guitar was completely broken off from the neck. i only owned the guitar for around 5 months before this happened and the guitar gets scratched to easy.... overall ok price utill it breaks then your screwed

Trophy and fun to play

By Chuck Tokarek

from Indianapolis IN

I bought my Washburn at a charity auction. It was owned by Rusty Young of the country-rock pioneering band Poco. Rusty is known as one of the world greatest Steel Guitar players and also wrote the Top Ten hit "Crazy Love".As far as the Washburn, it is a trophy as well as a fine guitar. I can play it, although my talent needs to improve. I enjoy it and the sound and the quality is very good.I would recommend a Washburn to anyone who is looking for a fine guitar, even if it at one time it was not owned by the great Rusty Young.

A great guitar for a great price.

By Randy-EFFDH

Firstly, this guitar is gorgeous. Ths finish is beautiful. I don't really have to many complaints on it. I dont care for the strings that came with it. The action when unpluged is a little high, but that may be related to the strings. overall a gorgeous guirar that plays well, at a decent price. I would recomend it to anyone really, from beginner to advanced guitar player. it's a great guitar

Sweet Deal

By Onlyuserotosoundstrings

from Sunny California

First off, the finish is amazing. I get complements on my guitar all the time. Second, the sound this guitar produces is gorgeous. The playablity is good too. The action feels just a little bit high for me, but the neck of the instrument is shaped great, and fits my hand very well. Unplugged the instrument lacks in volume and bass. I didn't realize this before, but I think that it may be directly related to being a cutaway, so I would reccomend getting the full dreadnaught. I love it though, and everyone I talk to does too.

nice guit, for the price

By burnerkid20

I love the looks of this guitar, except the gloss finish is sooo hard to keep clean...but I like how fast the neck is, sounds great. I didn't like the strings that came with it, they were cheap so I lowered the action and put some light gauge Elixer Nanoweb strings and now I love it...I'd recommend it to anyone from beginner to intermediate.

Not what I expected

By Jason McClure

I bought this guitar - the strings rattle and it doesn't like to stay tuned. I've had some problems with mine.

I am very impressed with this guitar. Great sound/tone; smooth action on the neck; great looks, good electronics. The only negative is the Vinci strings.

Glad it was my first guitar.

By Cassie

from Florida

Im really glad that I began learning on this guitar. It has a really nice sound and a rich tone that isnt like other acoustics. It's a very very good guitar for beginners to play. When I try to play my friends' acoustics and stuff it makes me glad that I have my sweet 'burn at home!
