Great Value for the Beginner

By Big Bad John

from Coventry, RI

The Washburn D10SCE is a great guitar for the price. It came packaged in a very nice hard shell case that fits the body of the guitar well. The guitar has a tuner that's part of the preamp and tells you what string you are playing and if it's too sharp or flat by means of LED's. The 9 volt battery is easliy replaced by depressing a clip on the outside of the guitar. The low E string will buzz a little if you play it hard, but since this is an accoustic/electric, I plan on plugging in if I need that much volume. The action is easy to play, I just recently started playing again and practiced for about three hours the first day I got it, my fingers were a little sore but not too bad at all. The guitar has a very nice finish and the tuning machines seem to do their job and not slip or drift.
