A very good, unique guitar...

By Swing_Lowe84

from Louisville

I've owned this one for a year now. I like to let some time lapse before writing a review; that way, the "infatuation" factor goes away and the review becomes more objective. After a year, I love this one even more. Main reason: the neck. Best neck of any acoustic I've owned, and I've owned LOTS. I use it to play Chet-style stuff, and other fingerstyle tunes, as it's great for those thumb-over-top chords, the neck is so thin and fast. The SOUND is great, too. Very loud, with great balance. I rarely plug it in, but the B-band pickup does work well. I love the cool fret markers - lots of comments about those. And HUGE frets! The rosette is awesome, too - Hopi Indian motif to match the fret markers. Extremely comfortable to play, and versatile. The "ash" is a laminate, and fairly heavy, but it works. Stays in tune like a battle ax. Get this one, folks -- it's a keeper, guaranteed.

Must Buy

By Nate Karr

from Rice lake Wi

This guitar is awesome. didn't buy it off here. got it cheaper but this guitar has a great bass sound. I play more folk stuff by myself and this companies my deep voice greatly. you won't regret buying this guitar. I've played for about 10 years and I'll never put down this washburn ever...

Sounds better with age

By jim-BEE-L

from Florida

Owned this guitar for about 4 years. Initially it was very difficult to keep in tune but with ageit stays in tune and the sound is magnificent bothacoustic or amped. I get lots of comments about the wood grain on the guitar. Very pleased all around.

Buy it. You'll be glad you did. I bought a lefty and a righty and they shipped to me ready to play. Great sound, quality is excellent. The quilted ash will blow your mind.

Acoustic Euphoria

By Stratenstein43

from Orlando, FL

The first thing I did as soon as I seen the guitar was not take my eyes off it. This guitar is so beautiful and is enriched with personality. The designs on the back is very interesting the fret markers are something else. It also does not have a pickguard which emphasizes more on it's beautiful nature. Not only does it look great but it plays extremely well. I did a good thing by purchasing this guitar for it will be my soulmate for the future to come.

just bought it

By John Sanders

from newnan

For those of you who are picky like I am wanting quality and beauty out of a guitar look no further. I purchased another brand before this one that was a b-stock and had to send it back due to a crack under the bridge and now I'm glad that I did. This guitar is absoutely beautiful and sounds full and clear plugged or unplugged and projects a nice well balanced tone. It has a great low action on the neck with no fret buzz. Great quality and cfaftsmanship for the money. This ones a keeper for me.

Quality Guitar at a Great Price

By Owner in Minnesota

from Rochester, MN

The Washburn D46SCE is an exellent guitar. It has great, full, mellow tone. I did add a few things that it could use like a strap button and new bridge pins, but that's all. The neck is really nice; it is thin and fast. The quilted ash back is sweet. All this for a price that is great, although I play different styles of music, I couldn't ask for a better guitar.
