The D52SWCE Washburn is an outstanding guitar in quality, sound and craftsmanship. With an excellent neck and body, beautifully finished, it both plays well and sounds great. This guitar easily competes with guitars selling for 2-3 times as much. The electronics are clear and accurate. The guitar stays in tune, with good intonation, and the satin finish over the well sanded body and neck make the guitar feel like you've played it for years. I really like the fast neck and low action as I also play electrics and the switchover is easy. Nice case too.

The D52SWCE is a superb instrument. I hate to admit it, but I prefer it over my Taylor 410CE. It plays smooth, and has a great neck. Fit and finish is top of the line.
Just got mine about 3 hours ago and just now managed to force myself to put it down...UnREAL!! I was lucky to get a #2 scratch and dent here at MF and saved $150....worth it for only one tiny scuff on the back edge. Fit, finish, quality, craftsmanship...Absolutely fabulous for a Mid-Grade Acoustic-Electric! and oh yeah a high quality brown leather Washburn hardshell case is INCLUDED!!for about 50% more than lower grade Asian made guitars, I believe it's well justified, and worth double the price! and MADE IN USA!! I've played Taylors and owned a Martin DCM-E and this is certainly as good if not better on all points.. Well DOne Washburn! just for the record, I'm just an old weekend warrior from Delaware :-)Highly Recomended!
I must say that this is a steal. I strongly recommend anyone that's looking for a great acoustic guitar for a reasonable price look no more. I prefer this over a Taylor 114ce I played at a local music store simply because the Taylor 114ce is a laminate compared to this guitar which is all solid wood.. I gave it a 4.5 on quality because it has a little fret buzz on the low E string on the 5th fret but I haven't taken it to a guitar tech yet which any guitar u buy u should do. The Grover 18:1 ratio tuners are out of this world not to mention the abolone rosette is beautiful. All in all it's a great guitar!!!
