The right size, the right price, the right features - right now!
Washburn has created this limited edition folk sized guitar with some very specific players in mind. The folk size body makes it easy to hold and play, particularly for females or young adults learning to play. The small body does not mean a small sound. The solid cedar top combined with mountain ash back and sides gives the instrument a uniquely satisfying tone that projects similarly to your favorite dreadnought. This guitar is also a favorite of singer songwriters or those looking for that one of a kind acoustic without breaking the bank. All Washburn guitars come with a limited lifetime warranty and 125 years of experience to back your investment.

A "ten" for the price: a great combination of looks and tone for the money. Intonation is right on; tiny string buzz out of the box was solved with new Elixir strings and a turn of the neck truss rod (accesible through the soundhole); solid cedar top gives a warm tone that prevents the brassy jangle common to cheap guitars. Inexpensive enough to leave on a farm and not wince when kids pick it up. Smallish - this "folk" size is about the size of Taylor's x12 or Martin 000 models - but doesn't feel like a toy the way the Baby Taylor and Little Martin do. The sound is an obvious step down from the Taylor 110 or Martin D-15, but c'mon, those are three times the price. This is a surprisingly pretty guitar: nice wood grains, high gloss all over; pearl inlay around the soundhole; enclosed Grover tuners. Prettier than all price competitors that I know about. I'd still advise you to pay for a nicer guitar, but in this price range, it's a stellar deal.
This is a great guitar. I was a little reluctant at first due to the fact the D100DL was low priced and to selling, but then was completely happy I got this. The action is great, the strings are close to the neck. The tuners are actually a beautiful color as well. The tone is very rich as well. The guitar is also loud, so don't think small means quiet. Also don't think this is a kid sized guitar. This guitar suits anyone, unless your like 7 feet, then maybe not.
