A bold sounding dreadnought with a spruce top, koa back & sides, and Fishman preamp.
The Washburn WD 55SCE Cutaway Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar is made with a solid Alaskan Sitka spruce top, and koa back & sides. This full-sized dreadnought has a mahogany neck that is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. An under-the-saddle Piezo pickup and a Fishman Presys+ Tuner/Preamp system give you the freedom to perform at any venue. Quality construction features include quartersawn scalloped bracing, rosewood bridge, gold die-cast tuners, and bone nut and saddle. Appointments include a gloss finish, abalone rosette, abalone purfling, binding on body and neck, and flamed maple capped headstock with mother-of-pearl Washburn logo & stylized W inlay.

I just purchased the Washburn WD55SCE this past weekend. I can hardly put it down!! Fabulous quality of build, great features usually only found on guitars costing twice as much. I own six other guitars, a few of them are high end, but none of them can match this girl for quality and quality of sound. I am so impressed with this thing.....off the hook!!! Buy one while the price is reasonable...you won't be sorry.
