It has been 50 years since Yamaha introduced the original FG180, which quickly became the first love of countless musicians. Its iconic Red Label represented the heart of the instrument - a beautiful, soulful tone that has come to define Yamaha's acoustic guitars. Yamaha recognized the FG180's milestone anniversary with the FG180-50th, with a run of just 180 guitars. It has a pairing of Solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X bracing on a solid mahogany body with rosewood, cream and black binding. Other appointments include a black/white/cream ABS soundhole rosette, urea nut and saddle, open gear chrome tuners, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a black pickguard. The Yamaha FG180-50th is a true collector's edition that will take you back to where your passion for music began.

Yamaha FG700S & FG710S (Discontinued)

Yamaha's FG700S and FG710S folk acoustic guitars were reasonably priced entry-level acoustic guitars featuring one of the most popular tonewoods - solid Sitka spruce - for the top. This gives you a nice mellow tone with a slower response, and keeps the guitar nice and lightweight, a combination that is ideal for a beginner trying to find their way around the instrument. The nato back and sides also keeps the guitar lightweight and inexpensive while not sacrifcing tone. Yamaha FG730S (Discontinued)

Yamaha FG735S (Discontinued)

Yamaha FG750S (Discontinued)

Crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and sycamore back and sides, it produces rich, vibrant tone and outstanding projection. Die-cast tuners with vintage-style plastic pegs keep tuning locked in. Yamaha The FG Limited Edition (Discontinued)

Solid tonewoods lend this guitar a rich, vibrant tone. Yamaha's Limited Edition FG acoustic guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides for a warm, vibrant tone. The guitar also boasts an Indian rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and binding,and original FG open-style tuners. The Limited Edition Yamaha FG was handcrafted in Japan and production was extremely limited. Only 40 of these beauties were made.
