fabulous guitar

I bought this guitar a little over a month ago and I haven't put it down since. I was a little skeptical at first because of the 3 piece neck and made in china sticker in the sound hole but what a fabulous instrument. The tuners work great and the guitar keeps tune almost perfectly. The spruce top looks great and the gloss finish looks and feels better than most finishes in the price range. The satin back neck fits perfectly in my hand which is hard to find as i have smaller hands. With fresh strings it was an exceptional strumming guitar, but it sounds more suited to fingerstyle as the strings gets broken in. Mahogany is usually like that compared to rosewood in my limited experience. Overall, an excellent bang for your buck. I got mine (not even) used with a hardshall case for about a great price, and it was a steal. (especially being a lefty)

Very Satisfied w/ my FG720SL

I bought my FG720SL about two years ago when I was decided I wanted to play something besides the bass.  I was a little sceptical at first because of the price, but it is worth every penny.  I've played guitars that are twice the price, and I wouldn't trade mine for anything.  It has an amazing warm sound, good volume and stays in tune well.  Highly reccomended.

I first realized Yamaha made great quality products when I bought an old used pair of 15" PA speakers that to this day still rock. This guitar is no different. Best price for this quality. The action right on, its fast, and the sound is incredible; rich and pronounced. Great tone and great finish. Perfect for the lefty who want rock out at parties and functions without having to plug in. Really wish it had a cut away, but still satisfied.

I never thought highly of yamaha until i got my FG720SL. Wow it is one of a kind, I've had it for a year and the sound just continues to improve. It has a warm and soothing sound, very affordable, it's worth every penny. Attention all leftys: THIS GUITAR IS A MUST HAVE GO OUT AND BUY ONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
