Great durability, stability and sound in one affordable instrument.
Part of the FS Series by Yamaha, the FS7305 pairs a spruce top with a rosewood back, sides and fingerboard as well as a nato neck for a pleasant, subtle sound. Stunning cosmetics include an abalone rosette and cream binding. The rosewood back and sides and these stunning upgraded cosmetics makes the FS730S an FS on a new level – both for sound and looks. Choice woods, the finest craftmanship and a smaller folk style body make the FS Series an individual alternative to the Yamaha's larger-bodied FG. Precise, smooth response and a sweet, focused tone make this a great choice for recording or fingerpicking.

Comments about Yamaha FS730S Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:
Old hands, and even older fingers... darn. I read other reviews that extolled the virtues of the Yamaha neck. I concur. Could use better strings, and maybe a trip to the big city for a little set-up tweaking. But it is a fine instrument as delivered. This was an open box from M/F, which got me an upgrade from the FS700 I was considering. Add my points to the open box discount, and heck, how could I say no?
