    Comments about Yamaha FSX700SC Solid Top Concert Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

    This was the second Yamaha guitar that I have owned. The first is a Yamaha AES620HB made in Korea. It is a fantastic instrument with features expected on a guitar twice its cost. I was a little sceptical with this A/E.

    The fit and finish are very nice for an entry level guitar. The sound is bright and articulate. The controls are adequate. It is very easy to play. The on-board tuner works well.

    My two gripes are that the finish on the neck is satin. I would have preferred that it was finished the same as the body. As i mentioned, there was no strap button near the neck of the guitar. I had one at home and put it on myself. Its just a small thing, but for the price, I thought it should have one.
