I just bought this wireless system out of impulse, I wanted one so bad. I had a show the same night and I took it home, messed with it for like 10 minutes (setting it up and whatnot) then went to the show. As far as the show went, it sounded loud enough and didn't cut out much, but I wasn't moving around too much, either (limited space). When I began actually practicing with it I saw a few little problems. When someone stands in front of you or if you face the receiver it will almost definitely cut out, and when you're playing if the receiver level is too high it will feed back and it's really annoying. I like it, don't get me wrong, and I'm still messing with it, but I'm not too sure what to feel about this one.

I've tried and I've tried but I just can't make it work. A brand new name brand alkaline battery lasts about 2 hours tops so you have to replace it in between sets or you wont get through your gig. For this reason it's way too costly to use for practice or jam sessions so I gave up trying and went back to the tether. It also adds a little fuzz to your signal, which you may not notice if you play with distortion but for clean sounds it sounds so horrible it's not even usable. Here again I gave up and went back to the cord. I've had this unit for almost a year and have never been able to use it therefore I had to give it a 1 for value. I've never been so disappointed with a product as I am with this one.

    Not bad

    By musicman 83

I've owned this thing for about 4 months now and it works great. Lets you select your channel to get the best sound. The only bad thing about it is the transmitter really takes the power out of those batteries. They usually only go about 4 to 5 hours. Other than that, its been just fine.

    Ecellent for the price...

I don't know about the other reviews, but I have had no problems with mine. It could be made of a better material, but I mounted it in a rack, so it is protected. Range is very good, no drop outs. Can't beat it for the money!

    Perfect for just about anyone

This product has quick response, super duper range, and more channels than you'll need. the reason i gave it a 7 on features is it only has one output. 2 aren't necessary, but would be nice to have.

The sound coming out of it is horrible, the clean sounded like there was an effect on it.

    Good Buy

    By Los Reaction

it works great! I would recommend this to just about anyone. The only complaint that I have is: I like to have a little feedback on my guitar when i play some of my riffs and solos; With this it eliminates most of the feedback, if you hold it close to the amp and have it REALLY loud then you might be lucky enough to get feedback. But other than that, it is great. I am never going back to hard wire cables.

    Great product great price

    By SouthpawShredder

I just bought this about a week ago and I'm impressed. The reason I chose this was because of the affordable price, but when I first brought it home I was disapointed. At first it was breaking up, and having volume jumps, but now that I've got it setup it sounds great. It takes some time to get your adjustments right but when you do the reward is great clarity at great distances. I admit sometimes I have problems, when planes fly over they disrupt the frequency, but other than that it's sweet. When it's setup right it's good for all styles of music, Clean or distorted.

    Not worth a dime.

    By Slapper5

Although this is less expensive than some, it is not worth anything if it cuts stops working in the middle of a set. The transmitter flat out died and it was not a battery problem. After three different new batteries, it would not come back on. That was the first time I used it out of the box. Sound of my bass was bad as well. My 18 year old Nady One sounded bad too but never quit on me. It cost less than a hundred bucks new. Run from this unit. Fortunately, I can return it. There are no bargain remote units. Gotta spend the bucks.

    Quality

This is a very good piece of equipment. It sounds like a decent cable, as long as you have the settings correct (turning the volume on the receiver down and finding the right channel) It has very long range and no drop outs. I've played it in a live situation where i was playing deep into the crowd. If you are a live guitarist and want to add a little "Angus Sizzle" to your show, I'd recommend this product.
