OVERVIEW

Four wireless mics with a single receiver bank.

Designed for four times the versatility, Samson's Stage 466 Quad Handheld Wireless System lets you use four microphones simultaneously with a single receiver. It's the ideal wireless solution for vocalists, karaoke performers, DJs or any application where multiple mics are needed.

At the core of the Stage 466 system is a full-rack quad VHF wireless receiver. The receiver's front panel features an RF channel indicator and a large rotary volume knob for each channel. The receiver also offers two tuned antennas, XLR mix, as well as four ¼" outputs that give you the option for each transmitter pair mixed or each transmitter individually. The Stage 466 system comes with two ¼" to ¼" cables.

The Stage 466 system includes four HT6 dynamic handheld microphone transmitters, each with a Samson H6 dynamic microphone element for capturing clear, accurate vocals. Each transmitter operates for up to ten hours on a single 9-volt battery (four included) and offers a handy audio on/off switch.

Consumer Alert:

Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC) or visit the FCCs wireless microphone website at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones.

Comments about Samson Stage 466 - Quad Handheld Wireless System:

We have only used these for three weeks in our church services. We are remolding our church and are having services in our fellowship hall. The sound system and mics are within just a few feet of the singers so I do not know how they will respond when we separate them by about 75 feet but right now they are great. The singers love them. If you have every had the opportunity to visit a Pentecostal Church service you know we kindly get a little beside our selves and are a little loud. These mics so far have worked great. They are light weight and you have to remove the battery cover to cut them on and off but seem to be worth the money. The batteries have lasted so for for 12 hours. The receiver is configured to where you can connect to mixer with on XLR cord or individually with 1/4 mono jack cords. Each have a volume control on the receiver. They do not come with mic clips. I ordered from Musician Friend the K&M Mic Clip H95489 and they worked fine. I'm to get back in our sanctuary and see how they work there.

    Samson Quad does the job

Comments about Samson Stage 466 - Quad Handheld Wireless System:

The Mic's performed well without problems of any kind. Setting the Mic's through a good system is needed. Knowledge for sound is required. Good Mic.

Comments about Samson Stage 466 - Quad Handheld Wireless System:

My uses have been in the range of about 25 meters, and everything has been basically fine.

Audio quality as basically as good as you can expect with dynamic microphones when transmission is clear.

My only issue is that it picks up a bit of interference, and that it gets a wee bit crackly at certain spots. Things that can be solved with a proper sound check.

    Not for Vocalists/Musicians

    Pros

      Cons

      • Muddy
      • static
      • Weak

      Best Uses

      • Karaoke
      • presentations

Comments about Samson Stage 466 - Quad Handheld Wireless System:

Compared to a chorded sm58, this samson was muddy with too much static. If you are a musician performing in front of people, this mic will not give you the quality you deserve. To put it simply, this mic is suatable for karaoke, not for serious musicians.
Now, for speaking engagements such as presentations or assemblys, this product would be fine.
