Comments about Galaxy Audio ECM Headset Wireless System:

The tiny clip that holds ther microphone to the headset falls apart. Had to put tiny zip ties all around to hold it together

Comments about Galaxy Audio ECM Headset Wireless System:

Getting better, tried it twice live, first time was not able to change channels, instructions to not match actual funtion, contacted company they were great, was able to use a second time fairly well, but sound man had some issues with feedback, i think once I got the level tweeked, it worked fairly well on last set of night, loved having the freedom to run around and still sing, price was great, if you have other wireless in your band on UHF, take the time to make adjustments and play with it a lot on sound check, I'm overall happy and will stay with it.

Comments about Galaxy Audio ECM Headset Wireless System:

It would have been helpful if someone else had recognized I already had the same wireless headset and told me that it wouldn't work. The guy I spoke with at the Indianapolis Call Center quickly recognized the problem and was extremely helpful I think his name was Tom Hauley (sp). It should be recognized for his excellent customer service.
Cost me several dollars just to return the item which is something that could have been avoided.

Did not work well at all from day one. UPDATE: SEE EDIT BELOW!

Comments about Galaxy Audio ECM Headset Wireless System:

I would not purchase another one of these myself.

UPDATE: I have changed my rating from a 3 to a 7 due to Galaxy's Product Support. See comment/update below regarding SUPERIOR support from Galaxy on my defective unit. They found broken solder joints and repaired the defective unit VERY fast.
Seems to have decent features, but that's all. ** See update **
I purchased this unit to use while playing drums and also a drum pad, to make it easier for me to sing while playing. It is the SECOND wireless headset mic system that I've purchased.

Although the sound was better with this unit, it did not work correctly out of the box, but I did not really think it was bad until after I got it back out about 3 1/2 months later and was using it again.

When I got it, I could not find any channels that worked until I got all the way up to channel 13 (out of 16). It then worked, and I used it to practice for an hour or so, and I thought it was OK. Then, last weekend, I got it back out and used it for an hour again. Today, trying to use it again, it kept cutting out on me. If I turned so that the receiver was away from the transmitter (behind my back), or wiggled it wrong, or just LOOKED at it wrong, it would cut out. I cannot get it to work right for more than 5 minutes without cutting out on me again.

I tried to reset the channels, and could not get it to work on channel 13 again at all. Finally got sound out of it at ch 16, but it still cuts out.

I am hoping to return it for repair or replacement, or to get a completely different brand.

Changed "Value" from 3 to 7 due to Galaxy Support.
