OVERVIEW

Ideal for vocalists and presenters who want clear, accurate audio, and the freedom to use their hands.

This Nady U-41 QUAD wireless mic system features a professional 4-channel UHF wireless system which offers clear, natural sounding wireless and comes with 4 UB-4 bodypack transmitters with 4 beige HM-10 headset microphones.

Nady U-41 QUAD Wireless Receiver
The Nady U-41 QUAD receiver delivers four discrete channels in the 902-928MHz and 944-952MHz bands for interference-free performance in any application or locale. It also features Nady's proprietary companding and low noise circuit for a 120dB dynamic range. The back panel has balanced XLR mic level outputs, an unbalanced 1/4" jack line level sum output with separate volumes, and external adjustable mute control for each channel. On the front panel, the LED display indicates TX On (single LED) and 5-segment AF levels for each channel. The U-41 also features dual removable antennas.

UB-4 Bodypack Transmitter
The compact UB-4 Bodypack Transmitter is a convenient way to add a headphone mic (included) to your wireless arsenal, though it can also be used with your instrument if you'd like to play wire- and worry-free. The locking 3.5mm mini-jack ensures a secure connection every time out. It has an Off/Standby/On switch for allows uncomplicated audio muting while the transmitter is on. Other features include a status LED indicator that flashes once for unit on or stays steady when the battery is low, easily accessible input level adjust control for optimum sound, and it runs on a single 9V alkaline or NiMH battery.

HM-10 HEADMIC Series Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
The Nady HM-10 ultra small condenser headset microphone is optimally designed for singing and speech applications. The HM-10's small size and light weight make it ideal for all handsfree use with minimum visibility. Perfect for singers/musicians (drummers, keyboardists), vocal/dance performers, DJs, television announcers, public speakers, and aerobics instructors. The Nady microphones have a 1/8" phone plug that securely locks into the UB-4 bodypack transmitters.

Consumer Alert:

Most users do not need a license to operate this wireless microphone system. Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device. Purchasers should also be aware that the FCC is currently evaluating use of wireless microphone systems, and these rules are subject to change. For more information, call the FCC at 1-888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC) or visit the FCCs wireless microphone website at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones.

Comments about Nady U-41 Quad HM10 Headset Wireless System (14/16/10/12):

Bought this unit to upgrade our system at church. It was easy to install and easy to use...however, it made a loud "pop" (RF interference, I suppose) at least 5 times during a 1 hour sermon...rendering it completely unusable for our purposes. Musicians Friend customer service was unable to offer any solution...so we returned it. Should'a read the reviews first...hope you are doing so now.

Comments about Nady U-41 Quad HM10 Headset Wireless System (14/16/10/12):

We could not get all 4 channels to work on our unit. The first unit; channels 1 and 4 would pop and crack and completely cut out. Then we returned the first unit and bought a second unit and channel 1 would pop and crack and cut out on a consistent basis. Enough of a problem that we could not make either unit work. Not happy at all with this product and we feel we gave it the best try we could with our professional engineer working the sound.

Comments about Nady U-41 Quad HM10 Headset Wireless System (14/16/10/12):

Unfortunately, I had to return it because of these random popping sounds that happened while in certain places on our stage. Must have been electrical interference of some sort, but we could not find the source. Other wireless mics seem to work fine. Sound quality was actually fairly good so it was too bad they didn't work out.
