BRP1C-BK Dual Coil Humbucker 6-String Guitar Pickup

The 1C is Bill Bartolini's first guitar humbucker design. It features unequal windings for a clear, clean tone that tends toward single coil. It can be used in wither the neck or the bridge position. It is well-known for its high clarity and definition with a brigher tone in the mids. It brings out every nuance in the inner voices of complex chords. The attack and overall quality of tone is in the region between crisp, acoustic tone and the rounded, or "diffused", treble quality of vintage humbuckers. This allows a very flexible interaction with onboard and amplifier tone settings. With the addition of one of Bartolini's preamps (sold separately), the gain can be modified in many ways for tonal shaping and for overdrive characteristics.
