The H2A is EMG's prototypical humbucker. The Alnico V magnet adds plenty of fat low-end for a nice punchy tone, perfect for the bridge position for any rhythm and blues player. All HZ Pickups have EMG's exclusive 5-wire quik-connect output allowing any number of wiring combinations, and are fully shielded for a minimum of noise. String grounding is recommended to further decrease noise.

EMG H2A Passive Pickups

Comments about EMG H2A Vintage Hot Passive Humbucker:

E
I just put a pair of EMG passive H2As in my MIM Tele. (I have prevously added a Bigsby, custom bridge and refinished the Tele - and the difference in sound quality with the addition of these EMGs is the finishing touch!!)

These EMGs are fantastic!

The 'tone' pot that came with the EMGs is way more responsive than the stock Fender pot, and the bite from the EMGs is far beyond what the original pickups were capable of.

I'm using the Tele through a '67 Dual Showman, and have always been pleased with the sound -- but this guitar now sings!! With this kiind of sound, I'll keep this axe for years!!

I absolutely love these EMGs!!!!
