This is the Trembucker (F-spaced) version of the JB Model humbucker. Designed in the early '70s, the JB Model humbucker adds juice to the bridge position of any humbucker-equipped instrument. With its hot coils, and Alnico 5 bar magnet, this pickup delivers an unmistakable upper midrange attack, a tight, articulate low end, and harmonically rich highs that can really sing. The JB is the perfect bridge pickup for anything from blues and country to the meanest hard rock and metal. Pair with the Jazz neck model for the ultimate Hot Rodded hum bucker set. Trembuckers have wider pole piece spacing, perfect for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or wide spaced hard tail bridge (two or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup). Hand-built in their Santa Barbara, CA factory, the JB Trembucker uses an Alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.

Comments about Seymour Duncan 1110313B TB4 JB Trembucker Black Pickup:

Absolutely love the tones and versatility. Installed with the SH2 in an old Ibanez RG and haven't put it down since. The TB just has wider spacing and lines up perfect with tremolo. It also came with a slightly larger pickup ring. It fit fine in the one I already had so I didn't use the ring. This combo is Seymour's favorite combo so if he loves it, it has to be good. I rarely post reviews but the TB has very few. It is the same as the JB4 though and that one has great reviews.
I have the SH6 and SH1 in an epiphone LP standard and that combo is excellent as well. If I had to live with one combo forever I would be perfectly content with the TB4/SH2. I play from classic rock, 80s metal to Metallica type metal and this handles all well.

    Rock Solid Pickup

Comments about Seymour Duncan 1110313B TB4 JB Trembucker Black Pickup:

I used this pickup in a Tele style humbucker bridge wired to a series/parallel switch and it's fantastic. The "trembucker" string spacing aligned perfectly. All the reviews for the standard JB humbucker's craftsmanship (excellent) and sound (which, to my ears, is full, rich, and defined) apply to this pickup as well... the only difference is the string spacing. Included were wiring instructions for many different applications, pickup ring, screws, and springs.
