It may be a cliché to say so, but it wouldn't be a surprise at all to look up "virtuoso" in a dictionary and see a photo of Andy Timmons. Since his debut with Danger Danger in 1988, he's made a permanent mark on the music scene, working with musicians and acts ranging from Paula Abdul to Steve Vai to the Beach Boys to Joe Satriani - not to mention striking out on a successful solo career as well. In short, he's basically the veteran guitar hero personified, so it's only fitting that he's been honored with this lineup of signature Ibanez Andy Timmons electric guitars. Like Andy himself, they're versatile, hard-working and ready for anything... so no matter how you like to play, they've got your back.

One of the reasons why these guitars are so adaptable is that they're also pretty simple. The layout of the AT10RP is a classic one, loaded with a Wilkinson WV6-SB synchronized tremolo opposite a maple neck in Andy's signature shape, stuffed with titanium rods. In between, you'll find a trio of DiMarzio humbuckers: dual The Cruisers in the neck and middle positions, teamed up with an AT-1 bridge pickup. All of that comes attached to an alder body, with a fretboard in maple or rosewood depending on the finish you choose. And of course, it goes without saying that every part is tweaked and calibrated according to Andy's specifications.

That said, there's no reason why you couldn't make some of your own adjustments to make these guitars truly your own. On the other hand, once you hear how great they sound right out of the box, you might not want to! Ibanez Andy Timmons electric guitars are configured to perform right from the factory floor, and they definitely deliver on that. So whether you're a tinker or a guitarist who prefers to keep everything stock, you're off to a solid start with Andy's signature lineup.
