A novel dipole antenna system on the receiver improves operation by providing a ground element in addition to the usual signal element.

This guitar system is ok. When you first get it its excting but after a while when you get over your rush and start tweaking things you cant get your tone to sound right. After about two weeks it started cutting out. Im a tall guy and i had it on my belt. Cut out, so i decited to put the transmitter pack on the strap level to my chest. it started working. Its easy to fall there. but insnt the point of a wireless to have freedom? No freedom if you keep cutting out. I have a show tonight and im not sure if i want to use it. I bout mine of musicians friend for 69.99 and now they dropped it to 59.99. the only channel they have is T8 and its limited quanitity. If it was good they would have gone sooner. Come on Audio Technica This is a ruse

During practices this wireless unit was really good. I was very impressed. It didn't cut out and it didn't fade as I walked clear across the street to test it's signal strength. For the price I thought this was a great buy. Come show time, when all the instruments and vocals are going, this thing started cutting out in the middle of our songs. I was very very aggitated. For the price I'm not too mad cause it was less than most systems....but if you want a good wireless system for your guitar, bass, vocals whatever...you're better off investing a couple hundred to get a great quality system...its like with anything you buy....gutiars, cars, drums....the more you pay....the better the product......i got what i paid for.....what should you do?

I dont even use it anymore

By JonnyGorgeous

from Massachusetts

I got it and I was really excited about two years ago. my band plays heavy amounts of shows and this just couldn't keep up. you can't move around with it or else the cable will fall out and half the set goes to trying to stick it back in and have it stay there. during the later parts of my usage of this product I ended up duct taping the cord around so sound would still come out. turn up the volume too far and you get feedback out the a$$. I strolled across this product in search of a new wireless system.

This is a no-brainer

By Wes Inman

from Ct.

I purchased this wireless guitar system before it went on sale, and have been completely pleased with it. It is a steal at this price. It has performed flawlessly at home and at the gig. Take the time to read the manual and it will perform well for you. I get good clear tone with no cutouts at all. Like all electronics you must take reasonable care with it, I wouldn't want to drop it on the floor. But overall, the quality is very good for this very modest price. I would also recommend the Neotech pouch (medium size)to hold the tranmitter. This is a fantastic deal, get it while you still can.

good for the price

By alfonzo-m9OEK

I had this one for a while now and I?ve had no problems with it. The only thing with it is it will cut out if your batteries are going dead. But that hasn?t been problems for me yet....over all you get what you pay for!

great

By nick-NzOv2

from Staten Island NY

This system works great, it was able to play through 5 walls when I tested its signal strength, but the only flaw is that the transmitter needs to have the batteries changed almost every day. I wouldn?t use it for practicing but only for performing

Not a bad little piece of equipment

I received this as a gift from my fiancee with the Schecter C-1 E/A. I tried it at 3 shows and 2 times it cut out on me. My last show it worked perfectly.. the sound was great and it gave me the freedom to walk around the room.. I had so much fun at the show thanks to this little unit. I'm going to try it at every gig I play at and if it doesn't cut out then i'll keep using it... If it does cut out i'm ready to hook back into my wired rig... Definitely not a bad deal though, worth checking into.

worth the bucks

By Koko

from Carbon County, PA

Bought this model to try out with my acoustic duo. I have a built in preamp in my guitar (takamine) and once I realized how to hook every thing up I had a blast...walking out into the crowd. I sounded great though just a PA. I would recommend for live duo acts or solo acts not much more, but worth every penny.

Hey, Works For Me!

By Dirty Dick Furberger

from I live at home with my mom

Ask me a question

Didn't expect much from this for the price, mostly gonna use it for practice. I decided after several successful practices to give it a shot live, and it didn't let me down. You WILL have to make some adjustments to the transmiter to get the best possible tone and sustain, but once thats taken care of you're good to go. I take good care of my gear, but if this ever craps out on me....I'll pick up another. Going wireless for this low-a-price is hard to pass up.

this is pretty f'n sweet

By toms-dnpTK

from Colorado

I just ordered one, and it got here today. After very little set up, and very simple by the way, I was rockin out. I was able to walk downstairs, out the door, and across the street and there was still signal going to my amp. I have mine set up through my pedalboard, so that I can still use all my pedals. Its pretty sweet, and I think that it is an amazing deal. Go buy it, play it, and rock out harder then ever

Colored sound

By Phrantics

from Petaluma, CA

Everything is fine about this except: It totally colors your clean tones, makes your distorted tones squeel (bad sounding feedback) and lose bass, causes static in your sound. I know it's cheap but I found it unusable. I had to send it back and got beyerdynamic opus 500 and never regretted it. I would suggest that unit even though it's more expensive. This one doesn't work good enough. Maybe for practice only, but it wasn't good enough for me even for that.
