The BLX series beltpack transmitter works with lavalier and headset microphones. With the WA302 1/4" to TA4F cable, it also works for electric guitar or bass. The beltpack features an On/Off hard toggle switch, preferring to eliminate the multi-function push button that is used on some wireless transmitters. Many users found the multi-function single button to be inconvenient and unreliable.
This package includes the BLX beltpack transmitter along with the BLX4 receiver. The BLX4 receiver is packaged in a lightweight, durable ABS polymer chassis. It has a smaller footprint than previous receivers, and features an enhanced group and channel scan. Up to 12 compatible systems per frequency band (region dependent). It features microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity, one-touch QuickScan frequency selection quickly locates the best frequency, 1/4" and XLR audio outputs, and two color audio status indicator LED.
This package includes the WA302 1/4" to TA4F cable to plug your guitar into the BLX1 bodypack transmitter.

Comments about Shure BLX14 BLX Wireless Guitar System:
If your thinking about going wireless this new unit from Shure is the way to go my friends ! I used to have a old Naty system that I used 30 years ago and back then the Tec was not very good I member playing and hearing the radio come through my amp LOL.But when I unbox my new BLX 14 system last week and hooked it all up and turn it on I though it was broke or I had it hook up wrong because it was crystal clear and silence until I ripped off a big old E power cord and you couldn't wipe the grin off my face !!! Trust this 53 years young rocker don't go cheap on a wireless system spend a little more and buy a shure your sound is worth it my friends !!!
