Analog Experience THE LABORATORY 61 is a 61-note MIDI keyboard with velocity and aftertouch-sensitive keys that is designed to easily integrate into any studio and stage environment.
Packaged with the Analog Laboratory software, it also offers straight-forward control over 3500 of the world's finest analog sounds and 200 scenes. All presets are carefully selected from the Arturia Classic Synths (Minimoog V, Moog Modular V, CS-80V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V, Prophet VS and Jupiter-8V). Browse sounds, tweak them, split your keyboard and launch loops. The 61-key controller offers unparalleled hands-on experience over the TAE synthesizer presets.
Its plug-and-play connectivity and assignable controllers make it the ideal MIDI keyboard to control third-party software or MIDI hardware devices.

Comments about Arturia Analog Experience, The Laboratory 61:
I just needed a new controller--I've already got tons of patches/VSTs: Garritan, Miroslav, SampleTank, etc. But I have to admit I was drawn to the Arturia by the included vintage synth patches and custom interface. I wasn't disappointed. I played with the included patches for four days before even getting around to playing my old patches. It's great for both. The keys are solid synth-style keys, the abundance of controls is great, and it's got a compact, classy design. I'm using Cubase 6 on a Mac Pro (10.6.8) and connecting it was a breeze. As soon as I plugged it in, I could play it. Adding the custom software was just as easy. I'm really impressed by this "hybrid" approach!

It did not have a good range of sounds. I was unable to use this much as my computer would freeze when I touched a key on the Laboratory 61.
The knobs do not stay in place.
