I love this amp. Until a better, more reliable company comes out with one that sounds better than what they currently offer, I'm going to have to endorse the generic brand known as Behringer.
I own 1 roland Kc500 and a KC550 and this thing blows them out of the water. This amp is basically an affordable version of the Roland but they stepped it up with cleaner sound, beefier low end and power. Hit the sub bass enhancer and you will see what I mean. I perform and tour with modern R&B, Pop and Hip hop acts all over the World. Not all keyboard players only play rhodes or B3. In todays age, you need amps that can handle 808 samples, crisp and piercing sawtooth virtual synths patches layered with effects. The Roland and just about any other keyboard amp are made for aging lounge acts and although reliable, have had their time. This monster seems to be made to handle modern music and that is a big plus for today's muscian. The mic input I use it to monitor my vocoders. 4 stereo channels to plug in multiple synths and a macbook pro running Virtual synths. This thing just rocks. like having your own mixer controler plugged into a super phat 15" Nexo wedge.
With Behringer you get 50/50 in quality and should be bought with caution. My woofer went out on me after getting loaded into a venue the rain and had it replaced with a Peavy Scorpion 15". The scorpion made it even better sounding and is exteremly solid. Too bad Roland dont step up and work on a model that sounds like the Behringer but is as solid as a Roland.
Can't beat the Value. We are talking about sound here and in terms of what sounds better, this amp is it. crips clear, monster sound is what you get. I only wish more sound companies carried this as available backline other than the Roland. When I show up to a concert and see that the KC550 is supplied for me on stage, I cringe.

An interesting way for Behringer to advertise its output power. Had to have the amp repaired (cable between the internal preamp and amp came off). When I asked the tech about the alleged 300 watt rating, he tested it and found that each of the 4 channels puts out 75 watts. To get 150 watts of power, he ran two channels of a stereo footboard into two channels of the Behringer. So technically, the amp puts out 300 watts, but you'd have to be running a single signal to all 4 channels at full volume to get 300 watts output from that single source.

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
I have had this amp about six months now and I still love it. I use it in a Harp and Bowl ministry setting which is demanding and takes some finesse to get the sound right with all the different participants. It is true that the XLR input for mic is way over the top loud and when I use another mic with adapter in the 1/4 inch channel I really have to crank it up as loud as it will go. I am going to fix this with two small mixer boards though which will solve some other issues to. I need to build a wood platform with casters to get it around easily because it is heavy but any kind of equipment like this is heavy so that is my solution. I wish Behringer would just make one available so I would not have to saw it out myself. I am planning on purchasing a second one for outside concerts in the park. I am very pleased with my purchase and did tons of research before I decided to go with this system. I am glad I did.

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
I sent back two of these Barringer amps and then gave up on it. Both had a constant hum. Spend the extra money and get Rolland's 550 amp. Much better choice. Rolland has a far superior sound as well.
Pros
- Good Mono Sound
Cons
- Difficult to Use
- Heavy
- No External Speaker
- Not As Advertised
- No True Stereo

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
bought to use as an all in one system. vocal, guitar, keyboard. when advertised as a stereo system wrongly assumed a hookup to an additional unpowered spearker would provide stereo. THERE IS NO EXT SPEAKER JACK, UNBELIEVABLE. worse it requires hookup to another amp for stereo. whats the point? if you wanted to use 2 amps then you already have potential stereo. very disapointed because the sound with the built in tweeter gave a very good live acoustic sound, as well as vocal. would only recommend if stereo was not needed.
Pros
- Direct in for PA L and R
- Easy to Use
- Great effects

- Portable
- Realistic Sound
- Responsive / Good Action
Cons
- A wee bit heavy
- Slight signal buzz
Best Uses

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
This amp almost has it all . Onboard effects & EQ , 4 chanels with stereo inputs & stereo out for a mixing board/PA system ! Just a wee bit heavy @ 70lbs , but not too difficult to handle .Like the feature where you can bridge in a CD player for practice puposes & the seperate headphones input/level:you can set them up like a monitor !
Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
This amp sounds good, has just the right number of inputs and effects for what we need. Using the amp for keyboards and vocals. The EQ is a plus to tailor the sound for the room. Overall a really nice affordable amp.
This amp is a compromise for us. We possess a half dozen amplifiers ranging from 10 watts to 400 watts. Through the years we have done some big jobs and now needed a keyboard amp and a small P.A. for smaller settings. It filled our needs and sounds great.
We have owned it for a short time, but have used it several times and so far real good.
This amp was the only affordable answer to our needs
Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
overall i give my amp a ten it does everything i ask for and more i had a smaller amp before i bought this one and every where i would go and perform i would get drowned out by all the other instruments but not anymore thanks to behringer and musician friends this is the only place i will buy musicial equimpent from until i cant play anymore keep rocking on musician friends thanks again for all yalls hard work
i just simply love the sound and the features on my new amp i mostly play it with my keyboard but with the presets feature it is a blast playing my gutiar with it without having a footpeadl
i give my amp a rating of ten because i love it and wont hook up my keboard without even if i go some were else to play for a gig and they already have musicial equimpent i tell them that i will use my own
i give the value of my amp a ten because for the size and the watts that this amp has you cant find a better price because were i from most of our music stores are kind of high on there prices
Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
This amp cranks!! Frequency response is even .. lots of highs and beefy lows. Plus you can hook up a subwoofer if you really need to move air. Honestly, you get more than you pay for with this amp. NOT chintzy, NOT flimsy. It's the real deal.
Features are the same as the Roland and other's equivalent at a MUCH lower price.
Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
This is the second K3000FX I own. I've had the other for about three years now and I think
they are terrific.I can link them together for larger venues or use a single one when playing smaller joints. They give me the same full sound either way. I play two keyboards through them: a Ketron
SD1 and a Yamaha 9000 PRO. The horns and strings come through crisp while the organ and drum
lows can be teeth rattling. The onboard effects are a bonus adding significantly to the vocals.
I'm using this pair to replace my Peavey XR680C and XR696F amps and two 115 Intrnational HC
and two SP 2 speakers ( all with the Black Widow woofers ). I have used the Behringers in all the same places as the Peaveys and they perform every bit as well with a whole lot less weight.
I also own four EUROLIVE B215XL speakers as well as two EUROLIVE B210D Active speaker systems and I can attest that Behringer makes a very good product and stands behind their quality.
You can't beat the value!

Comments about Behringer ULTRATONE K3000FX Keyboard Amp/PA System:
I have had this for about 3 years now and the only issue I have had is that the tweeter came loose from the housing and fell down inside. I was able to pull the handle off and reattach it without much trouble. This is my go to answer for a lot of situations. It makes a great keyboard amp, no doubt. But I have also used it as a PA for practice and a powered monitor for gigs while running sound for other bands.
