Comments about Casio AP-220 Celviano Digital Piano with Matching Bench:

this is a great home piano that demands low or no maintainance . I came to my senses after looking at several used pianos.Keys feel real and sounds great. The only thing is that the structure can really be improved for durability. The body is all make of particle board there is no metal or plastic track or enforcement pieces at spots of concentrated force like screws holes, someplaces where two boards join I don't even see a screw only staples on the top. it's easy to fall apart during handling or installation . but if your piano survived the setting up process, it will be stable . You might think pianist would not be that clumsy to break a piano, but the fact that I bought a condition 4 structuraly damaged one that doesn't even show any signs of ever been put together. the boards and lid probably broke from inproper handling.I fixed it with a jar of Bundo and saved a bunch.

Comments about Casio AP-220 Celviano Digital Piano with Matching Bench:

I bought this celviano with fractured board for half of the price and brought it back to life with a jar of Bundo, and some screws from my tool box.sound is great, close to real , no need to worry about tuning .
The only thing I question this product is the flimsy structure design. All particle board with no Strengthening pieces at the load bearing point. Some places where boards joining together u don't see nuts and bolts, only staples .

If u are not clumsy enough to break the pieces before setting it up. It will make a worthwhile investment for years to come.

      Huge Disappointment!

Comments about Casio AP-220 Celviano Digital Piano with Matching Bench:

The Casio AP-220 Celviano digital piano was a huge disappointment! The piano itself was constructed OK and the weighted keys felt nice but the sound was awful! I called Casio for tech support and they knew nothing about the product. Casio said they could not help me with it and suggested that I call Musician's Friend for tech support! I will not buy another Casio product again if I can avoid it! Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product!
