dont believe me listen to the demos!! No matter you're a beginner or a pro this is the keyboard for you for the buck! It has killer saxes, organs, and to my surprise now pianos! and many more to mention. I also have the CTK-900 which has a few more sounds and sounds great too! I had the wk 3200 but it was too much for me! my only irk is they didnt put a pitch wheel on the ctk also other than that i'd take casio over yamaha everyday! for the money.... This is the keyboard you want!! if you're a beginner and follow through this keyboard will last u forever! For the price i would reccommend this keyboard to all my students and anyone lookin for that draw bar organ, perc organs, and u can store sounds in the banks for fingertip recall and more.

This keyboard blew me away!

#1 The Keyboard - I am an old musician and clearly remember the agony of dragging a Church-Type organ and tone cabinet around just to get that awesome sound. Who would believe that a very close approximation is available for this price and weighs about 10 pounds? The Casio 691 is so easy to operate. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, touched the Drawbar Organ button, and my jaw almost hit the floor. This thing is Da' Bomb. It's the best money I have spent in years!! You should seriously consider buying the Casio AC adapter at the same time you get the keyboard. It is hiss-free and will save you lots of money, as battery costs add up quickly. #2 The Company - These guys are truly the ultimate music retailer! I have shopped here for years and have spent thousands of dollars. I have always received extremely courteous service and the best prices around... and No I have nothing to do with the company - just a Very Satisfied Customer. Many Thanks, Guys!

Casio CTK-691

I recently purchased this CTK-691 and I love it.I have just starting taking piano lessons at my young age of 50. One is never to old to learn. I recommend this highly, just wish it had a little more volume but that can be fixed with an amplifier. My piano teacher recommended me to start with this and hoping by Christmas I will be moving on up to the 88 key casio. He was right on the money when he suggested this for a beginner. I just hope all people allow their dreams to become reality and not hold back. The people at musician's friends have been great in assisting me with any questions I have. Matter of fact I purchased another one of these for a gift for our minister of music from our church family. So that should say alot all by itself. Thanks!

Nice acoustic piano, very comparable to many pro units costing many times its price.

Great starter keyboard

By Anonymous

This keyboard is amazing. It can do almost anything the Casio WK 3000 can. Great organ sounds, just not a modulation button that comes with the Casio WK 3000. A great starting keyboard and well worth the money.

Great for beginners

By link0587

from CA

I have had this keyboard for quite a while now. I got is when I was starting to play. The keyboard is excellent I think for beginners and intermediate players. It has a great selection of sounds. however, I have to mention that the organ sounds on this board could be better, if not less fake. I still have it and in great working condition. Very reliable. Today, i use it mostly with midi programs. Bottom Line: If you want to learn how to play keyboard, or just want a great keyboard with an awesome selection of sounds and don't have much money, this keyboard is the best way to go.

great board/ downloads no!

By defurman

from JACKSONVILLE, FL

A great sounding board. 32 note polyphony, and a synth that works great. Lots of rhythm sounds and a good song memory feature. The problem is internet capability. CASIO web sites do NOT WORK. Their tech support have offered little help.If internet downloads for songs and sounds are important, forget CASIO. Otherwise, the keyboard itself is a super sounding board.

I purchased this keyboard and I am really impressed with all the features. You can take the sounds and double them. The sequencer is 6 tracks. If you are like me and have the Tascam us122 this is really not a bad set up. For the price the CKT 691 is an excellent value.

This is the coolest keyboard that I have ever played. It has the best sounds and it actually sounds like a grand piano. It is the best investment ever made.
