A great keyboard with its own music teacher built in to get you started.

The Casio LK-110 music keyboard features 61 full-size keys. The keyboard's Key Lighting System lights up the keys you need to press when you're using its built-in lessons. Simply follow the keyboard lights to master keyboard playing at your own pace. An onscreen LCD timing indicator teaches you correct timing, and the Casio LK-110 has a Voice Fingering Guide which uses a simulated voice to call out a number, telling you which finger you use on next note when it detects that you are lagging, stopped, or playing wrong notes.

Other Casio LK-100 keyboard features include 100 high-quality tones, 50 rhythms, auto-accompaniment, MIDI (5-channel multi-timbre receive), and one-key play. The LK-100 keybaord also comes with 100 Song Bank tunes ranging from children's lullabies and traditional American classics to popular holiday tunes and classical pieces. Most of the tunes are included in a song book, so you can learn to read music as you play. The keyboard's music rest gives you a place to put your song book or any other sheet music as you advance in skill.

Finally, the Casko LK-110 Keyboard has a mic input, which allows you to connect a commercially available microphone for singing-along to the included songs or to songs you make up yourself.

      Comments about Casio LK-110 Keyboard:

I've bought dozens of these to replace old keyboards in my middle school piano lab. They have lasted through the use/abuse of middle schoolers, and provide a solid starter instrument for beginners. My advanced students (which are few and far between) are allowed to use an acoustic piano in a practice room (thereby giving them a full keyboard).

      Comments about Casio LK-110 Keyboard:

bought this for my son so he would leave my KORG piano alone for him to learn on. It is great for those who can self teach themselves at a cheap price

      LK 110 Keyboard

      By Jaelynn Penn

      Comments about Casio LK-110 Keyboard:

This keyboard looks something like a beginner keyboard. So you might want to get it for your child for Christmas. It is very inexpensive and it only has 62 keys; not even 77 keys. But it does have digital sounds and buttons so that's a plus. I rate this a 6 for beginners, but advanced and intermediate at LEAST get a keyboard with 77 keys.
