Loaded with 246 tones that include 118 panel sounds and 128 GM tones plus 9 drum/percussion kits that can be accessed with layer and split functions. 120 rhythm patterns include 20 piano patterns while auto-accompaniment systems help maximize your practice time. There are 50 song bank tunes, 50 piano bank tunes, plus 50 songs with adjustable melody volume for sing-along. A front mic input plus volume and key controls let you configure your playing to suit your needs. Instructional features also include an advanced 3-step lesson system, interactive scoring with voice display, voice fingering guide, and a practice phrase switch. The song memory supports 2 tracks and 2 songs. The display shows status of Tone, Rhythm, Song, Volume, Melody Off, and Tempo. An on-screen music staff and finger icons display melody notes of the built-in songs and chords and a metronome icon indicates the beat. Other features include transpose and tuning controls, an assignable pedal jack, stereo speakers, 1/4" stereo line out, and headphone jack. Casio's Score Navigation system allows connection to the Internet via any MIDI-equipped PC to download scores from the Casio site. Operates on D batteries or optional AD-5 AC adapter.

They keyboard is good, and its features are really good with the lightup keys, but just because the keys light up doesn't mean you learn the song. You don't remember where your fingers go when the lights aren't on. You have to sit down and write the notes and learn them yourself. But other than that, it's great for little kids that want to play, and it's got all the features and more of other keyboards for this price. I don't know if this is the same for the LK-55 as it is with the LK-56, but there's also a recording thing in it thats pretty cool.
