Comments about Casio MZ-X500 Music Arranger:
I've had my MZ X500 for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it. I call it "The Beast" because it can do everything and kills any other board out there in this price range. I am a solo act so I use it for creating tracks to back me up when I play live. I love the portability and the ease of use. There is a lot to learn but the touch screen makes it easy to figure things out.
The ability to plug in a mic and another instrument are really useful. Sometime I plug in my guitar and others I will have my second keyboard plugged in through the MZ X running stereo out which is really cool.
Love the flexibility of this board. Speakers are great for just playing at home or a small gig. If you take it out it is stage ready as well.
And did I mention the Hex Layers and Bass synth?? Those features alone are worth the price of this board. Overall great value for the money. 1100 great tones already that can be easily molded to find that perfect sound you are looking for.
If you are looking at this board. Get it!! You will be happy you did...
