OVERVIEW

Portable digital piano with heavy connectivity and auto accompaniment.

PX360 is a lightweight, portable digital piano with 88 full-size, weighted scaled hammer action tri-sensor keys. The third sensor allows the instrument to more accurately emulate the sound of an acoustic piano, and this extraordinary key bed triggers with the feel of an acoustic piano. The Ebony & Ivory feel on the top of the keys enhance this effect. A sound sample library that features Casios 4-Layer Stereo Grand Piano Sound, Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source, Hammer Response Simulator and String Resonance Simulator maximizes this triggering mechanism.

Other features include 128 Note Polyphony, 550 Tones, Digital Effects including 17 Reverbs, 16 Chorus, 6 Delays, 4 Band Master EQ and DSP. A bank of 200 Rhythms with Rhythm Editor is included, along with a 96 Registration Memory (4 Areas x 24 Banks), 100 Song Audio Recorder, 17 Track / 100 Song MIDI Recorder with Song and Track Editing, Registration Memory. These functions are all accessible through a 5.3-inch Color Touch Display, which additionally accesses Casios lesson function and 305 presets. Connectivity includes USB MIDI, USB Flash Drive Port, MIDI In/Out, L/R Line & Out, Audio In, 4 Speakers, and a 2 x 8 W Amplifier. Operates with included ADA12150 adapter.

Comments about Casio Privia PX360 Portable Digital Piano:

I read many reviews on this and Yamaha Digital Piano offerings. Either one would have been great. The touch screen display pushed me in the Casio direction. Couldn't be more pleased! The sound is very realistic. I also bought the 3 Pedal accessory option - too soon the review that.
