Everything from the classic Minimoog plus remote software control.
From 1970 to 1981, over 13,000 Minimoogs were built: thank you, Dr. Moog! That would seem to be a lot of units, but in hindsight it was not enough. Many more people wanted it, but missed out for whatever reason. If you missed out, no problem—the Minimax ASB Sound Box Synthesizer is yours!
OK, it's not the original. But this is as close as you can get. The Sound: digitally re-mastered down to each detail. A full fat, dynamic Filter, which provides grip, keeps you and your sound warm, whistles like a teapot on a steam oven, and still knows about the truth behind over-modulation.
Also included: Oscillators with wide tires, deep tread, and brute output. Speedy Envelopes. Twelve voices, almost as powerful as two Memorymoogs. BTW: of course Minimax ASB is completely programmable (with memories to boot!).
Best of all: Minimax ASB not only sounds like a Minimoog —you can also really play it like one live. Every pot and every control of the role model is in place. And, via Remote Software, you will find further features, which were previously unavailable.

I've had this for 3 months and it does more that the original. Poly mode is just as fat as the mono stuff. Excellent german quality and great VA sounds.
Get this! Been total joy since it arrived! I am a previous micromoog, minimoog and memorymoog owner...this sounds authentic. Big fat MOOG sound, far beyond what I thought could be delivered. The spirit is in it, the knobs are a joy to tweak in real time, plug in a midi keyboard and go! I now own an 88 key true polymoog, the way it shoulda been, now with digital stability to boot and programmable. It is quiet and crankable, stereo! and, I am not a shill for the company, just an end user, extremely happy with the delivered product.
the problem with this unit is located on the volume knob. when you change patches, the patch ignores the level of the volume knob and defaults to the preset patch volume. this is beyond annoying. also, the volume knob does not trail off when you turn down from low volume to zero. somewhere around 1, it disappears completely, no gradient. these two things need to be addressed soon in a software update before i could heartily recommend this machine.on the plus side, the sounds are stunning. a better moog sound and more authentic to the minimoog than the current voyager. it has a rawness that the voyager lacks. so...when the volume knob problem is fixed, go out and grab one!
