Flexible, portable MIDI control with great action.
The Edirol PCR-M50 MIDI Keyboard Controller offers direct connection to your computer through USB, 49 keys, 27 assignable MIDI controllers, MIDI I/O, and both sustain and expression pedal connections. It also includes a software editor. It adds features like velocity curves, a switchable MIDI interface, V-LINK, and key action from Roland's higher-end synths. The assignable control array includes 8 knobs, 8 sliders, 9 switches, and 2 pedal ports.
The key action on the Edirol MIDI Controller has been refined to produce even less mechanical noise than its predecessor and offers a consistent, playable feel. The keys themselves are slightly more rounded to keep your fingers from tripping over the keys during quick glissandi. The PCR-M50's Pitchbend/Modulation has a rubber coating for easier grip.

The board works very well, almost all the synths and B411 are pre-programmed into it as soon as the software comes up.I'm not good at all with programming and have not figured out yet how to program knobs and sliders. The keys are outstanding and do take pounding on as one would hammer on a Hammond. The very little programming I've done takes effect immediatly always.
