Comments about Korg Limited Edition Kaossilator 2 Touch Pad Synth/Looper:
The quality of the sounds in this little thing is phenomenal. They're great for adding ambience and improvisational material to your live mix.
Learning how to play without keys can be a bit of a challenge but it enables you to scale up and down octaves in ways not physically possible with a keyboard.
It's an excellent sketchpad for developing full blown compositions and creating live loops. The backup storage feature is a great addition. Especially since you can store and play back MP3s making this an awesome backup instrument.
I can hardly wait to get the Mini KP with the same storage features.

Comments about Korg Limited Edition Kaossilator 2 Touch Pad Synth/Looper:
Clip that holds the back on broke when I first installed batteries. Awesome little toy but it's really hard to input exact notes with just a touch screen. Add a midi in and it would work for me.

Comments about Korg Limited Edition Kaossilator 2 Touch Pad Synth/Looper:
I have had a blast with this thing. It is very good for ear training and mobile music making fun. I have a Korg SOS portable recorder that I use on the road and I have used this to lay down some synth sounds over prerecorded tracks and used it for the drum patterns and just to have some fun with. The battery life is not as good as advertised, so make sure you have a spare set or a power supply. The sounds are decent quality for the price and with just a little practice I have been laying down some pretty good tracks. I thought I would have to return this with a hole in the plastic case, but after looking closely at a blowup of the unit I saw it is designed that way. What's up with that? I haven't found a way to delete my recorded loops yet, so that may be a design flaw. You can delete the songs that you create by using the loops and playing over them in the voice recorder. I also wish there was a way to delete the latest overdubs rather than starting a loop over and that there was a way to engage the mic switch while recording with an instrument. On Youtube it shows using a rubberband and clamp to hold the button. I've not found another way yet. Other than these few design flaws, the unit is a blast to just play with.
