The M-50 employes everything plus the kitchen sink. Great response when touching the keys. The M-50 has so many features, it can be complex for the beginning enthusiast. Wonderful quality of sounds.

I liked the sound and features and general vibe very much. But for this lightweight piece of plastic I would not pay over $450, tops. I also will never get a keyboard that uses a stinking ac/dc adapter. Compared to my older keyboards these keys feel like they were cut from ketchup bottles. Big Corporate greed makes me want to barf these days. I guess you have to pay 3 grand for a hefty feel these days. So be it. I sent mine back for a refund.

Buttons should be rubberized! I've had it sent back twice because the locator button keeps popping off track and going inside the keyboard. I also own the Korg D3200 and the Korg MicroSampler, and since I like my M50 so much, I'll probably just keep it and buy the new Kronos Too!
it's an amazing start or addition to any Studio. You get so much with this keyboard... Numerous effects, a 16 channel/track midi sequencer, and an sd storage slot on the back that takes up to 2gb cards.
Hate the way it clicks when you push the buttons. I've owned it for about two years and it gets annoying at times.
Well worth the price. Full of sounds and and the touch screen is nice.
Comments about Korg M50 61-Key Music Workstation:
i played on a earlier system that my older brother had bought to make some techno tracks with and was incredibly amazed. for never having played a single keyboard before or anything without strings on it i was suprised to find it extremely easy to use and just play with. after going in to a local guitar center and actually getting my hands on the newer version i was again happy to see the same ease of use transferred over to the newer generation. this keyboard is simply put incredible. for the ease of use alone i highly recommend it. its just fun to play with and theres alot of cool sounds that you can get out of it for whatever type of music you play. definately going to be using this to create some synth effects for my future projects.
Comments about Korg M50 61-Key Music Workstation:
Powerful, and just sounds, fat & wonderful. I've read reviews saying the keys are "cheap". I like'm... they're not weighted piano keys, but you may not want that for a "synth" anyway, if so get the 88. I like the feel, and especially the "shape" of the keys..., fast & accurate.

I have nothing much to say...the world's most user-friendly music workstation. period. This is my eighth keyboard and it is by-far the best.
Comments about Korg M50 61-Key Music Workstation:
This keyboard is awesome. Its a waterd down version of M3(YOU CAN'T SAMPLE). Its not a hard to get around the board with the touch screen, and the sounds are amazing. I have a 2 year who, when I'm not looking, plays with it, so I have to give its props for being sturdy. It has an array of sounds. Its also has a sequencer that is pretty easy to use, not like other keyboards. I have a yamaha MOTIF ES6, a roland G70, roland Fantom X6,and Korg Triton and this keybord was the most cost effective and the user friendliest synth workstation I've worked with.
Comments about Korg M50 61-Key Music Workstation:
I have tried used it and it has great sounds, lots of features with all the bells and whistkes, but the quality seems to be low compared to others. I played one of these in a local store and several of the keys were already broken. Looks like a delicate instrument so the quality is not even average.
