I'm very pleased with it's weight and it's very comfortable and enjoyable to play.
This is a brilliant piece of equipment. When I got it, I was literally able to plug it in and start using it, no setup, no installation, nothing. Plug it in and you're done. Being a DJ, I found it very easy to use for controlling effects and transitioning between tracks. On top of its quality features, it is also very portable. I can just unplug it, stick it in a bag, and go.Recently, I made the upgrade to Ableton Live 7, and I was very pleased with my results. Within 5 minutes of registration I was able to mix, apply effects, and play music. I would recommends the M-Audio O2 to anyone with an interest in music.
Not fancy, I don't really like the modulation lever, although the pitch bend lever is ingenious.I use this 90% of the time with Sibelius. It's small and light, perfect for your laptop.Works flawlessly with Mac (...and surprisingly with windows) after 6 months or so, the key action is becoming lighter (not as bouncy), perfect to my liking.I'd give "10" for the feature if it had audio interface.
