Comments about Nord Piano 2 HA88:
Very musical and expressive. Wonderful for live performances. I've heard some complain that the hammer-action keys are light to the touch, but I like it a lot even though I'm used to playing on real grand pianos. It's just a joy and an inspiration to use. The Grand lady D along with the other pianos are already worth the price of admission... but then the Nord Sample libraries are availble too, which increases the flexibility of the keyboard beyond just a stage piano. Immediately recognized in OSX when connected by USB and I was able to easily upgrade the Lady D from factory medium to high sample available on the supplied disk. Also I used it to control Reason on my laptop. Worked great with studio recordings too. My first Nord and certainly NOT my last. Highly recommended... ALSO, great customer service Musicians's Friend! Thank you! I always refer my friends and colleagues to your site.

Comments about Nord Piano 2 HA88:
I really like this piano because it works great in a live band it cuts very well. Some have complained of the action, i will say there are better but it is still fine, i have gotten used to it. I have had many pianos bfore that were a little pulled back in the mids and would sound good playing by yourself but could get lost in a mix. the nord seems a little punchy in the mids but can be dialed back when playing by yourself. but the mids become very good in a band setting. Awesome really! kinda like an old marshall amp for guitar they can seem alittle agressive, middy and in your face playing one somtimes by yourself but in a band they work great. Also the electric pianos, rhodes wurlis and clavs are unbelievable! Don't hesitate this is a great board!
