Comments about Novation 25 SL MkII Keyboard Controller:
for the cost just not quality. Automap is a complete joke - I can't believe anyone thinks that this is an acceptable product. Mine didn't survive 2 weeks without knobs falling off. The pads are useless - just get something else at least the m-audio is cheaper and equivalent quality.

This the best midi controller money can buy, All the features work perfect. I have 2 novation Keyboards and 1 Remote Zero, The remote Zero and 1 of my boards i purchased on Ebay, both had a Pots slider or Data pots was Destroyed by previous owner, i contacted the novations support and both times, they sent me replacement parts for free, i had to pay for nothing, no shipping, no tax. All i had to do is spend a picture of the part and my mailing address, and they sent me the parts. Now that is really good customer support. the parent company of novation is Focusrite, i will stand behind all their products and they stand behind their products. The midi keyboard are really the best, i really love the Automap, the speed dial, the easy of mapping Vst or protood plugins, if you read the manual, you really can control everything and i mean everything, it will control more then DAW. I use it for all windows functions, you can program windows shortcuts into this thing, and they work in any program.

I bought this controller a couple of months ago. I needed a controller to use with Ableton Live. I am extremely happy with my purchase of the SL MKII. The quality is unmatched. I've used other controllers similar to this one and they do not even compare. Using Automap, all of the sliders and knobs automatically link to the parameters of VST"s and other virtual instruments, which is a huge help. I would highly recommend this controller to anyone looking for a controller for Live or any other midi program.
