I love this keyboard! But the manual doesn't tell me how to change the pitchbend range! I want to make it 1.5-20 whole notes! Can't figure it out!
I bought this about 3 weeks ago, right away I knew I loved it. It's simple to use and sounds great. keep it up Novation.
Makes amazing sounds, easily. The keyboard is tiny though..
This board has left me hanging in the wind on two separate concert occasions now. I'm fearing that I made a wrong decision in purchasing this board. It's very user friendly and very "on-the-fly" friendly. However, there are SERIOUS issues of power failure complications when the proper amount of wattage to support its juice is either not available or decreases because of other outside sources (i.e.- bad generators, lighting, etc.) Buyer...please be aware.
this product is great for the price it can also serve as a midi control it's presets are amazing the only major draw back to the k station is it is not multi-timberal which is really no problem unless you do not have anything to record your progression into to the many worlds of synth a nother great thing not only about the k station but all novation products not to mention other companies as well but i have found them to be very accommodating inregards to tech. support and the fact you can download patches from their website and all 400 patches are fully re-writeable as to similar products it is very hard to say each synth has it's own sound i use this for lead i works great it very closely resembles in sound that of the clavia family synths (Nord)
to be honest, when i first heard of it i was like wow novation finally made a piece of trash and wants to sell a heap and cash in. after touching once i was convinced they they were going to beat out everyone else. this thing makes some seriously dope basses wicked leads and flying apreggios and phatty pads if you need synthesis bad and want to pay half as much for just a great product as waldorf well here it is
