I use this as a practice amp and monitor at gigs for my keyboards and ukuleles. It's loud enough for either and the sound quality is very good. I'm surprised at how loud it is and how well it handles the low frequencies for something so compact. I wish it had a couple other features but overall I'm very pleased and would probably replace it with the same model if I needed another keyboard amp that wasn't a powerhouse. I suppose you could use it in a small venue as a PA, but it would have to be a relatively quiet environment.
4 channel input and bass/treble adjustments are great. Subwoofer out. The only outputs I'd say that it lacks is effects send/return and an XLR output (there is a 1/4" line out). I wish it had reverb built in for the mic channel. You can stick it on a speaker stand which is handy. No way to tilt it back which would be nice since it's a relatively small amp anyway.
Built solid and sounds great. The sound quality is noticably better than my Peavey KB3. I use it as a keyboard amp and for an ukulele. It sounds great for either instrument and surprisingly good for low sounds (wurlitzer or bass drum from the sequencer).
It's a little on the expensive side for its size, but I think it's worth it, especially compared to my Peavey KB3 which sells for the same amount and is more powerful, but doesn't sound as good.

Go this thing brand new with my Juno-Di. The sound quality is fine... as long as it and my keyboard arent turned up past the halway point! After the halfway mark the whole thing distorts terribly, the bottom end sounds awful. Idk if either i just didnt get something big enough for my needs, if i got a dud, or if this thing is just no good... Oh well.... Roland makes a good keyboard, not a good amp.

I have my Casio PX-350 digital keyboard connected to the amplifier. It worked fine at first. A few months later it started making noise. I noticed it while working on my computer in my music room. The piano and amp were on and I was wondering where the low-level scratching and popping noises were coming from. The noise is not audible while playing the piano through the amp. It is very irritating in a quiet room with the amp and piano turned on and sitting at rest. Now I'm trying to find the source of the noise. The amp doesn't make noise when turned on with no instruments connected into the inputs. The piano doesn't make any noise either, whether in the headphones or connected into other amplifiers. I only hear the noise when the PX-350 and Roland KC-50 are connected together. I guess I'll have to ship it to an authorized repair shop at my expense.

I used this amp for my Roland V-drum Kit and my shure sm58 mic.Pros:This amp is really loud,the construction quality is great, very light to handle. Cons;Only has an High and Low EQ for all channels, no effects.This would be a great amp, but for the price, you better keep looking. Although I'm a fan of Roland products, this amp is really overpriced for the limited features it offers. I had this amp along with a Peavey KB3. Sold them both and got a Behringer k450fx, which is way much better than any of them.

I have the KC-60's bigger brother (KC-500 w/ JBL) for my gigging keyboard rig, so I bought the KC-60 for home use and for a dedicated drum machine amp--it is all I expected; excellent fidelity, loud for its size.I would probably replace the speaker (with a JBL or Weber) if I were going to use it on small-venue gigs for keyboards (starts to break up at max volume), but overall excellent value.

I've been using this amp with a Yamaha P90 and a Variax guitar. The response is very good and sound quality crisp and clear. The aux inputs are nice as it allows me to plug in an MP3 player for backing tracks. This is a great amp for solo player needing a solid rig.

Works great as an active monitor if you're running thru a PA. Somewhat limited in volume and low range freq's. If you're looking for a home amp, it's perfect.

I use the KC60 for performing as a monitor and in my personal studio as a multi-use speaker. It is clear, sharp, and dynamic...especially for a 40watt speaker.

I own a Boss ME-50 that I run my guitar through. I sat for about an hour playing Line Out (the ME-50 has amp simulation on that line) into this thing, and I was very happy with how it sounded! This thing took everything I threw at it like a champ, and was loud! In fact, I had to make sure I didn't fuzz it out, like playing metal at highest volume. But wow! The bluesy sounds didn't sound as nice on it. I didn't play with the EQ. All in all, I almost walked out of the store with a pair of them! It was tempting to sell my 1972 Fender Twin Reverb to my friend and get two of these, but it was just short of what I needed, so I didn't.
