New PHA-III Ivory Feel Keyboard
Even the most demanding pianist will appreciate the V-Piano's PHA-III Ivory Feel keyboard with Escapement. This advanced keyboard technology reproduces the real feel of ivory for the natural keys and ebony for the sharps, and provides a true grand-piano touch and response. Even the subtle click feel when the "hammer" is released from the key (escapement) is reproduced.

I went and tried this piano out yesterday. What superb sound! The mass of the instrument helps give it excellent feel, along with Roland's matte finish keys, which are the best out there. There are more settings for pure piano than any other instrument I've seen, including individual string tuning. But it's just that grand piano sound this Roland excels at. It's a truly worthysubstitute for those settings and situations wherean acoustic cannot work but in every other respect is wanted--smaller space, an environment that throws an acoustic out of tune too frequently, wanting a number of specialized piano sounds for the most demanding uses. Simply amazing.
