My two year old grandson went to it like a flea to a dog. All his little friends play it when they come visit. Easy to move it from room to room. Sturdy.
Impressive sound for such a small inexpensive instrument. Teaches early appreciation for music.

We would highly recommend this beautiful little spinet piano. We received the mahogony version as a gift for our son's first birthday. He plays with it daily and loves tinkling the keys and putting things behind the open space at the bottom of the base. It seems to be very well constructed and sturdy enough to survive the typical toddler banging and bumping. Piano tune and sound quality are as expected, not concert quality but good enough to be a first experience with keys, notes, and sounds. We did put the bench away until he is older since it seemed a bit too easy to move and toss around. We will likely replace this with the larger 37 key model when he is old enough to actually play a few songs.

Of all the form factors in toy pianos, I think I chose well. It's a great piano that should last for a while, and not be grown out of, like other toys. The song book and note strip of course might not last long enough to be of any use, but we'll see. The volume is not quiet, kind of medium loud. There is no access to the insides, but boxy enough that I could get in there if I needed to. God only knows what I will do to that poor piano when I do.
Perfect size for my 1YO and the fire engine red makes it look good everywhere. This is a very decent piano and this size sounds very good and resonates nicely. I may borrow this sometime for recording. I was looking for the best toy piano for my little girl, who's favorite toys are Daddy's Kaoss pad and pedal board, and she loves this almost as much.
Not bad quality, but stinks of Chinese manufacturing so much I want to get a lead test. It seems to hold up pretty well, and I put gliders on the bottom of the piano and stool to make it easier to move. Survived a trip to a portrait studio without any problems
Better price here on MF although had to wait longer due to backorder.

My husband is president of our local community choir and as you can imagine wants our 17 month old daughter to be musically talented as well. We bought the child's piano for her without high expectations as she had totally rejected all of the electronic Toy R Us type musical instruments we had exposed her to. Not the piano. She is in love with it. One of her favorite activities is to have me put on a DVD of the Irish musical group Celtic Women and allow her to join in with the "singing princesses". She will stand at her piano belting out a fairly good rendition of singing in baby talk and has actually begun to develop and understanding of which notes actually sound good together. As the mother of 4 children I have to say this is my best purchase to date and I am very impressed with both the quality and sturdiness of this "toy" which truly does sound like a musical instrument is supposed to sound.
